These include the right to freedom of movement and assembly, and the right to work or trade,&#8221; the Conversation reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;President Cyril Ramaphosa declared a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.za\/speeches\/statement-president-cyril-ramaphosa-measures-combat-covid-19-epidemic-15-mar-2020-0000\">State of Disaster<\/a>&nbsp;in March 2020, and placed the country under lockdown, in a bid to combat the pandemic. The lockdown regulations (or \u201clevels\u201d) changed from time to time, becoming more or less restrictive.
