There are now 184 222 vaccinated children aged between 12 and 17 in South Africa, of which 13 569 received the single dose of the Pfizer vaccine on Thursday.
According to the Department of Health, the country administered 152 049 jabs in the past 24 hours, pushing the total doses to 22 965 123 since the start of the vaccination rollout programme.
In addition, South Africa now has 12 737 700 or 31.8% fully vaccinated adults.
