The head of the Vatican drew attention to the humanitarian catastrophe in Mariupol and for the Lord asked to stop this slaughter.
“Mariupol, a city in southern Ukraine, which bears the name of the Virgin Mary, today became a martyr city in the fierce war,” says Pope Francis.
